Dr. Mazzei and Practice Manager Mark have had a strong commitment to helping to improve our planets health for all their adult lives. In fact, it was this passion for the environment that caused their paths to cross while employees at Brukner Nature Center in Troy, Ohio.
We believe strongly that the environment needs protecting and are committed to having a “Green “ business. The Tornado of 2019 and the pandemic (see the “our History” section) have us not as far along in this area as we would like but we continue to make strides towards improving our environmental impact each year.
Our green practices include:
- All lights have been converted to LED.
- Added a general recycling program in 2017.
- Added additional recycling of “thin” plastics in 2024.
- Use earth friendly methods in maintaining the lawn and landscaping.
- Have reduced our paper use. Continue to make strides in this area.
- Bi-Annual routine maintenance of HVAC equipment to keep it working efficiently.
