At Shiloh Animal Hospital our goal is to provide high quality medical care in a timely manner. Unfortunately, when a client is late for or does not show up for an appointment it makes it harder for us to meet these goals. Due to an increase in late show and no-show occurrences we have found it necessary to institute a new policy.
A missed appointment is when you fail to show up for an appointment without notifying us to cancel a minimum of 24 hours in advance.
Being more than 15 minutes late for an appointment will also be considered a no show as the appointment will need to be rescheduled so that we can stay on time for our other clients.
You can notify us that you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment in three ways:
- Simply call us at 937-278-3484 and let our receptionist know or leave a voicemail letting us know you name and appointment time and that you need to reschedule or cancel.
- On our website you can go to the Contact drop down tab and send us an email letting us know you need to reschedule or cancel. Again, include your name, your pets name and the appointment time if possible. You can also email us at info@shilohanimal.com
- You can contact us through your PetDesk app that is linked with your account here. If do not have the PetDesk app and would like to get it please let us know.
Missed/Late appointment policy for exams and appointments:
The first time there is a “no show” or late cancelation we will call to remind the client of our policy but there will be no charge.
The second “no-show” will again have no charge but in order to make a third appointment a deposit in the amount of an exam fee will be required.
Surgery Appointment No Show policy:
Surgeries have a similar policy. If you need to cancel a surgery, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance of the surgery date. If you miss a surgery appointment without notice we will reschedule, however, to book the surgery a second time will require a $75 deposit.
